Standing at the edge, wind at your back, ready to leap.
Good morning, beautiful souls. ☀️ It's Friday — and we made it to the edge. The week is behind us, the weekend stretches out ahead, and right now we're standing in that sacred in-between space. Take a breath. Feel the wind. Let's look back before we leap forward. 🌊
🕯️ The Candles Are Lit
This morning I'm burning three candles, each holding an intention for us as we close out the week:
📖 The Word
"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you."
Philippians 1:3 — KJV
What a gentle, powerful little verse for a Friday morning. Paul didn't say "I thank God when things were easy" or "when you got it right." He said upon every remembrance. The messy moments. The almost-made-it moments. The Tuesday you barely got out of bed. Every single one. Someone out there is thankful you showed up this week — even imperfectly. Even tired. Even half-running on fumes and stubborn hope. You were worth remembering.
🃏 The Cards
This week's three-card pull came in strong, and they have something to say.
This card doesn't show up for people who had an easy week. It shows up for the ones who stayed in it. After the full moon energy stirred everything up on Sunday and we rolled into a brand new month with our nervous systems still humming — Strength says: you didn't fold. That inner fire held. Honor that. Genuinely honor it.
Oh, she is timely. This queen moves through the world with quiet confidence — she tends her home, tends her people, tends herself. She shows up in the real world with her hands, her warmth, her presence. This week, for those of us who got out there, made connections, found old friends in familiar places, showed up to the gym, kept the routine going — that was Queen of Pentacles energy in action. She doesn't demand applause. She just does. And she does it with grace.
And here we are at the edge of the cliff. The Fool is the card of the fresh start, the leap of faith, the one who steps off the edge with joy in their heart and trust in their bones. After a week of building — new contacts, old friends, real movement forward — The Fool says: keep going. Don't second-guess the momentum. You've been spreading seeds all week and now it's time to leap into the weekend with that same open spirit. A dinner out, a busy Friday, a trip across the bridge to St. Pete — that's The Fool's territory. Embrace it.
This week wasn't perfect — and it didn't need to be. We moved through a full moon, we stepped into a new month, we showed up in the world, we nourished some connections, we took care of our bodies, and we gave ourselves a little grace at the end. That's not failure. That's humanity.
The candles are burning, the cards have spoken, and the Word reminds us: we are worth remembering.
🕯️ Rest. Restore. Rise. 🕯️
